About the Artist
OORIGIN
From New Braunfels Texas, (Jerome Dillon Bettersworth) is a diverse self run artist who started making music in late 2018, when he made his first album at 13. He considers himself to be a funk rap artist, but always ends up making something even he didn’t know he could create.
INSPIRATION
In his music you might find fast lyrical rap songs but on beats featuring the heavy bass and synths of the 70s funk era. Dillon grew up in a household big on theatre giving him years of experience performing, and with vocals eventually inspiring him to make his own source material with a hiphop twist to it. he is heavily influenced by artists like earth wind & fire, Blue magic, Scarlxrd, and even yung gravy.
EXPERIENCE
Inspiration comes from anywhere and can result in a combination of genres which can be found in this music. He collaborates with producers but is mainly his own producer making about 70% of his beats, and alway engineering and mixing himself.
